The Most Important Blog... Ever

Yes. The greatest R&B group of all time released their seventh studio album today, and like all six before it, this one is simply outstanding. It's a collection of Motown and soul classics like "You Make Me Feel Brand New" and "What You Won't Do For Love," redone by Boyz II Men in a way that often makes the original pale by comparison.

The album has been released with surprisingly little fanfare. Boyz II Men are on tour now and they appeared on the CBS Early Show yesterday, but the release has been largely ignored by TV and radio. Boyz II Men, now a trio, remain the most talented R&B group in the business, but now that the era of the ballad is over they seem to have trouble generating the raw excitement that they commanded in the 1990s. Fortunately, now that they have appeared on the most important blog ever, we can expect their sales to skyrocket. The only better way to increase sales would be to get me back into Boyz II Men, which I'm trying to arrange as we speak. Go out and pick up a copy of Throwback today.

so here in the urban metropolis of chicago illinois, i went to my favorite record store in the entire world, tower records on belden and clark. anyways, i'm rummaging through their discount bin hoping to find some throwaway cds that i'd be willing to pay five bucks for. anyways, in between the best of night ranger and vanilla ice's rap rock record, i found the entire boyz II men catalog, which apparently tower is trying to dump.

i mean if boyz II men can't even make it in a big time chicago record store, is there any hope for them in the rest of the country?

what i like best about dipshit's comments here is that he makes it sound as if there's some conspiracy to prevent boyz II men from becoming popular again, thereby insinuating that there's some conspiracy to prevent the validation of his sorry taste in music. my guess is that the same people who tried to suppress bush's ties to the bin laden family must be the same people suppressing news of a new boyz II men album here in the states.

I still believe that boyz II men is the greatest R&b group till now, lately they were going down the scale but if they cange thier style of music and adopt the new R&b way,I think they can make it again and go 9x platinum again and more, bcoz with that talent they can do anything
