Our third entry goes against me.
On the NYTimes.com homepage today:
"Israeli Troops Kill 4 Palestinians After Deadly Bombing"
No photos in the story. Although the headline refers to a Palestinian attack ("Deadly Bombing") as justification for the Israeli action, it does attribute the Palestinian deaths to "Israeli Troops," so it's a point against me. 1-2 now in headlines. Still 3-0 in photos.
As a side-note, I'd like to point out that of the 6 major US news outlets we're watching, only one had a headline today about these Palestinians who were killed by Israeli troops. Also, the headline appared under 'International' and not in the top stories section of the NYTimes website.
Don't know what's I'm talking about? See the project rules.
