everytime you chastise the american public for not caring about the right things (using the flimsy premise of news coverage as your criteria), you don't so much expose the general public's ignorance so mauch as you are showing your side's complete inability to reach people. sure people are idiots, but are you any less of an idiot, after all you can't convince people to care about the same things you do.
also, let's not forget johnnie cochran's civil rights work. it is an important story.
