More tragic news from the West Bank, as an Israeli soldier is stabbed at a checkpoint near the Palestinian city of Nablus. The soldiers at the checkpoint shot dead the woman who stabbed the soldier. Both women were treated at the scene by paramedics.
This sad story does not appear as a headline on any of the mainstream media websites that we monitor. This marks the 24th time since January that we've noticed a story about a Palestinian killed by Israelis that hasn't made headlines in the US. Only twice have we noticed a similar lack of attention given to the tragic stories when Israelis are killed by Palestinians.

"The assailant was taken into custody."
The woman who was shot dead was from the day before.
I feel obligated to at least say I still think your project sucks.
Uh, looks like the BBC and Ha'aretz updated their story pages and moved the story about the shooting at the checkpoint near Nablus to the bottom of the page. This post refers only to that as the incident in question.
This project definitely sucks. But I'm committed to bringing it to you anyway.
