Here’s some free advice for my Important Readers:
1. No matter how many times it asks, do not feed your laptop’s alcoholism. My laptop looked thirsty this past Friday night, and I went ahead and let it drink a glass of wine. Sure enough, it has a big hangover which looks like it might be permenant. So if blogging is light over the next week or so, you know why.
2. Make sure you vote next Tuesday, the 8th, if you’re a Californian. We’re winning, but it’s close, and it’s all about turnout. Nix the first six.
4. There is some good news to report from this weekend, though. I just saved 15% on my car insurance by switching to G– you know what, this joke just got old.

When I poured a glass of wine on my laptop, my Best Buy service plan got me a brand new one plus $200.
