About This Blog

This blog is Erik Love’s personal blog. I focus on politics, criticize the mainstream news media, cheer for Detroit sports teams, highlight aspects of the conflict in the Middle East you might otherwise not hear about, and I pontificate on important things like movies, music, and of course, myself.

Most of the header photos at the top of the page were taken by me over the years, but a few are from stock photography.  Contact me if you’d like to know more.

For about two years (from 2005-2007) I was on the staff of the Courage Campaign, a non-profit progressive organization focused on California issues.
