Howard Dean Meets Erik

At the relatively well-attended progressive politics festival, Demfest 2006, history was made. Former US Presidential hopeful Howard Dean got his wish as he arranged a meeting with Erik.

"I nearly became the coolest President in the history of the world," Dean told ENN reporters at a press confernece after the historic meeting between the two Democratic Party icons. "But the 2004 campaign pales in comparison to the thrill I got when speaking with Erik."

Dean wanted to spend more time with Erik, but Erik was too busy meeting with his fellow Courage Campaign Team Blog Members, Todd and Elliott. "Sorry, Howie," Erik was quoted as saying, "This has been nice and all, but I got places to be. Best of luck with that whole DLC thing."

Mr. Dean, leader of the Democratic Leadership Council, was said to have laughed heartily at several of Erik's jokes. "Yeah," Dean said, "Erik's funnier than he looks. If only I'd had him on my campaign team back in '04, I just might have made it."

ENN received unconfirmed reports that Dr. Dean asked Erik to run for President in 2008. When asked to describe whether the reports were accurate, Erik shouted, "Byaaaaaahhhh!"
