Erik Leads May Day March For Human Rights

-- SANTA BARBARA, California

Santa Barbara officials were shocked and surprised to see Erik along with 19,999 of his closest friends marching for justice and civil rights as part of a May Day protest in downtown Santa Barbara. The protest was part of a national call to action issued by Erik and other towering figures in the civil rights movement. With rallies across the nation in cities large and small, Erik declared the movement successful – assuming people actually get out and vote in November.

The rally began as a march from park in central Santa Barbara, through the State Street downtown area, and it ended up at the Sunken Gardens near the historic Courthouse.  Marchers wore white shirts and waved American flags to show their solidarity and to call the nation to uphold its foundational ideal: to hold it self-evident that all people are created equal.

When asked why he could only rally 20,000 people, Erik responded, "My ratings over at the Important Radio Show are a bit down, but I did the best I could.  Si se puede!"

Stay with ENN as we continue to document the struggle for civil rights as led by Erik.
