A Very Special Turkey Becomes Erik's Thanksgiving Dinner

-- SANTA BARBARA, California

A very special turkey, demanded by Erik's good, Italian, food elitist friends Andrew and Francesca, became Thanksgiving Dinner for a group of graduate students in Santa Barbara today.

Erik was on hand with Helene as the turkey was purchased according to the Italians' specifications.

"This one looks nice," Erik said, pointing to an 'Organic' bird.

"No," Helene insisted, checking the requirements from the chefs. "Organic is just the beginning."

Finally, after searching for several hours, Erik and Helene found a turkey that was labeled 'Organic, Free Range, Cage Free, Antibiotic Free, Hormone Free, National Merit Scholar, UCLA Graduate 2005, M.A., USC 2006."

At a press conference outside Love Headquarters after Thanksgiving dinner, Erik issued a prepared statement. "I'd like to give thanks to my friends for a wonderful Thanksgiving. The turkey was delicious. Finally, I'd like to say that the Detroit Lions suck."
